Race Overview

Race #4 of the Honor our Heroes 5K & 10K run series is dedicated to the brave men and women who serve as First Responders, specifically Firefighters & EMT.

5% of all registration fees will be donated to a Fire/EMT charity in the area. Within registration you can designate an addition donation if you wish.

Saturday, October 28th, 2023 is First Responders appreciation day. On Race day, we will be honoring and celebrating those who Serve and Protect our State, Cities, Communities and families in the service fields of Fire Fighter and EMT. We will honor both active and retired first responder personnel with a ceremonial start to the event and special guest honorees. If you would like to recommend an honoree please email me, andrew@racebreakthrough.com, with the Name, Rank, Years of Service, and a description of why they should be an honoree.

April 1st, 2023- August 30th, 2023: $40

September 1st, 2023- October 13th, 2023: $45

October 14th, 2023- October 28th, 2023: $50 (Not guaranteed a shirt on race day, will be made available in a second print after the event)


Full Series Registration

August 1st, 2022- Sept 30th, 2022: $120 ($30/race)

October 1st, 2022 - November 30th, 2022: $140 ($35/race)

December 1st, 2022- January 13th, 2023: $160 ($40/race)

You might be wondering...

Athletes receive a point per position. 1st place = 1 point, 35th place = 35 points. Points awarded Per Male/Female Division.
You must race 3 of 4 events to be eligible. We will use your 3 lowest finishing positions.
Technically since February of 2022. However, it has been a family business since 2006! My father, Cole Braun, started Great Lakes Multisport (GLM) and RACC. During that time I was a crewmen setting courses and managing equipment. Later the company was sold to my younger brother, Craig Braun. He rebranded to Lighthouse Events.

After a few short years away my wife, Karly, and I felt like it was time to restart the family business. So we do claim all those years even though the operating name was different. We have been and always will host events By racers - For Racers!
