Race Overview

After a few years away, the Dousman Duathlon is back! For some, Duathlons are a chance to dip their toe into the multisport racing community. For others, it's a welcomed change of pace from running races or triathlons.

The Run - Bike - Run format is a great opportunity to grow as a multisport athlete.

Course Overview

Starting and Finishing at Cory Municipal Park, you will have the opportunity to race a fast and safe course that features some small rolling hills and beautiful lake country views. All courses are on open roads. Athletes must follow traffic laws unless a police officer is waving them through.

The Run Course:

A 2-mile segment that takes place on the Glacial Drumlin Trail system. From the park, you will head North on Main St. towards the Glacial Drumlin Trail. You will turn left and head West to the 1 Mile turnaround. You can access the route via the following link - Run Segment Link

The Bike Course:

A 17.5-mile route through the rolling hills south of Dousman and the Village of Summit. We aim to have the safest courses possible with the fewest Left Turns (crossing traffic). This route features four left turns that will ALL be officer or Course Marshall controlled. The route heads south from Cory Municipal Park and you will ride the loop clockwise. You can access the route via the following link - Bike Segment Link

Technically since February of 2022. However, it has been a family business since 2006! My father, Cole Braun, started Great Lakes Multisport (GLM) and RACC. During that time I was a crewmen setting courses and managing equipment. Later the company was sold to my younger brother, Craig Braun. He rebranded to Lighthouse Events.

After a few short years away my wife, Karly, and I felt like it was time to restart the family business. So we do claim all those years even though the operating name was different. We have been and always will host events By racers - For Racers!
