Race Overview

After a few years away, the Cooney Duathlon is back! For some, Duathlons are a chance to dip their toe into the multisport racing community. For others, it's a welcomed change of pace from running races or triathlons.

The Run - Bike - Run format is a great opportunity to grow as a multisport athlete.

Technically since February of 2022. However, it has been a family business since 2006! My father, Cole Braun, started Great Lakes Multisport (GLM) and RACC. During that time I was a crewmen setting courses and managing equipment. Later the company was sold to my younger brother, Craig Braun. He rebranded to Lighthouse Events.

After a few short years away my wife, Karly, and I felt like it was time to restart the family business. So we do claim all those years even though the operating name was different. We have been and always will host events By racers - For Racers!
